Located on the outskirts of the picturesque town of White River - only 38 km from the world famous Kruger National Park and a mere 4 ½ km from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport – the Lodge is nestled in over 30 hectares of magnificent gardens with the piece de resistance being the White River winding its way through the bottom of the property.

We have 16 Superior rooms and four Luxury suites (one being our romantic Honeymoon suite) at the Lodge all of which have been tastefully furnished in different styles - Colonial, Victorian, Provencal, French Country, African Colonial and English Country as well as our recently completed Orchard and Forest rooms – and offer guests luxurious comfort and secluded privacy. Our six new Orchard and Forest rooms form a little village on their own and, as their names suggest, some have a view over our citrus orchard while the others look into our pine forest.

	LUXURY SUITES   An English Country garden theme will greet you in two of our suites, the only two that boast dual open fire places that can be enjoyed in the lounge or the bedroom! These suites also have magnificent Cherry wood four poster beds and secluded outdoor showers. Our Colonial suite will transport you into a bygone era with its checkered tiled bathroom floor and ball-and-claw bath. Sound systems are standard in our suites as is the sherry decanter, the contents of which are yours to enjoy with our compliments!
	SUPERIOR ROOMS   Our 16 Superior rooms are furnished in different styles, each one offering 5-star levels of comfort and luxury. Concrete baths dominate the bathrooms of our Provencal rooms while step up baths and hand made basins feature prominently in our French Country rooms. Outdoor showers are “added extras” in most of our rooms and will entice you to experience the magic of showering under the Milky Way.

OUTDOOR DELIGHTS Our secluded pool deck with its inviting pool is there for guests’ enjoyment, as are the hammocks dotted around the gardens. Our elevated wooden deck overlooks the White River and is a great spot for sundowners. Bird life abounds at Jatinga and a comprehensive bird check list can be found in all our rooms. There are two leisurely walks along the White River for those who wish to explore our grounds a little more. Croquet and French boules are two of the other laid back pursuits that can be enjoyed at the lodge.

 

LORD MILNER PUB  The “Lord Milner” pub can be found just off the lounge in the lodge’s main building and its vibrant coral red walls are as warm and welcoming as our barman’s smile! Whether a gin and tonic is your preference or a glass of chilled estate wine, you’ll be well looked after in the “Lord Milner”.
