The five twin bedded thatched chalets have been interior designed to provide the ultimate in rustic luxury. All chalets have en suite facilities and their own private viewing patio.
Cooking is performed on either gas or open fire. Our cuisine has been specially created to reflect Africa in all her moods.
Meals are social occasions and a time to listen and share fascinating tales of the bush or to sit back and reflect on the day passed. Meals include a full breakfast/brunch, high tea, snacks and boma dinner.
Wine connoisseurs from the Cape have designed our comprehensive wine list, and all dietary and culinary requirements are met at Tangala.

Rangers carry rifles on all game drives and excursions, and all guests are escorted to their chalets after dark. Our guests’ safety is of utmost importance to us. We accommodate disabled people. In the event of an emergency, Tangala has full air evacuation facilities. Although our camp is created to protect our guests from malaria, it is strongly recommended that they take their appropriate preventative measures.
