Valley of the Waves at the Suncity Resort

As an overnight visitor, the Suncity Resort offers free access to the Valley of the Waves. This advanced waterpark in South Africa is dominated by a large lagoon which has a wave machine capable of generating 1.8 metre waves every 90 seconds. Exhilaration and thrills are what you will find at the Suncity water park with five flume rides. For the less adventurous visitor to the resort there is the 'Lazy River', perfect for a gentle ride. On the other end of the scale, the Temple of Courage drops swimmers 17 metres down a death-defying slide and under a bridge with a final splash into a small pool. This amazing feature of the Suncity Resort also offers a food court with tasty fast foods for those having too much fun to stop!

SUN CITY CABANAS

All the 380 rooms now offer modern upmarket décor and a retro design with a European feel. The rooms have been restyled in muted hues of glorious pinks and aqua greens. The white cotton linen duvets enhance the fresh feel of the rooms and allow for a more casual style.   Guests can choose between standard and luxury Cabanas, all of which are fully air-conditioned and equipped with quality flat screen TV’s with selected DSTV channels, tea and coffee making facilities and electronic safes and telephones. A major bonus for families is the mini refrigerator, which is ideal for storing baby bottles, milk and beverages.  Standard Cabanas offer a shower-en-suite, whilst their luxury counterparts feature a full bathroom.
