Set on the banks of the Crocodile River, Ingulule family Cabin is the newest addition to the Elephant Walk Retreat family. An eclectic scattering of small intimate self-catering chalets and cabins epitomize this established family owned retreat. A stones throw from the Crocodile Bridge Gate of the Kruger National Park this family lodge is raised on timber decks to offer guests the ultimate vantage point. The main en-suite bedroom opens onto a wide viewing deck which hosts a dining table and seating for those cozy family gatherings.

LUXURY LOG CABIN- INGULULE meaning Cheetah - UNIT NO. 3
-     Ingulule is a 2 bed roomed unit and can comfortably accommodate 5 guests.
-     This Cabin is also raised high on stilts to optimise views over the Crocodile River – Kruger National Park.
-     The main bedroom has a comfortable King Size bed, plus a single bed and is air-conditioned. The shower and toilet are en-suite onto the main bedroom.
-     There is a second bedroom – suitable for children - with 2 single, beds and shares the shower and toilet onto the main bedroom.
-     The Cabin has a fully equipped kitchenette on a private deck. Guests experience the luxury of being able to prepare a meal whilst overlooking the Crocodile River.
-     In front of the unit there is a braai/barbeque area where guests can have a true South African braai.

THE  BOMA.

No more than 30 meters from the entrance gate at Crocodile Bridge the most Southern gate to the Kruger Park. 

Two comfortable economy units, one sleeps four persons and the other six with shared ablution.  Both units have basic self-catering and a huge colonial veranda leading out into a  boma area.  Relax under thatched umbrellas where the experiences of the day can be reviewed.  

 

 

 

Cuisine

Guests can on request experience the superb cuisine of Elephant Walk , on a half board (Breakfast and Dinner) basis.

The resident Portuguese chef specializes in Portuguese cuisine, fresh tiger prawns, char grilled chicken  and delicious steaks are all the order of the day! 

Reservations are essential.

 

 

Game Drives.

Elephant Walk Retreat is primarily a game destination and a perfect base for self drives into the game rich South-Eastern corner of Kruger. Guests may also elect to join a qualified Ranger on an open vehicle Game Drive. Outstanding sightings of the "Big 5" will certainly delight our guests.

 

 

Bush Walks

Early morning bush walks into Kruger, is an absolute must, for the serious nature lover. Experience the adrenalin rush when you meet one of the "big five" face to face on the trail. Your bush guides can answer most of your questions.
